Howdy!
I understand that the Cain set which gives a 25% to drop another key when one drops can only be unlocked by feeding the recipe to the smith. And that those recipes drop randomly from any (?) enemy.
So how would I get it the fastest? Can they be included in bounty rewards? I think I remember they contain a lot of recipes.

Kill goblins and do bounties are your best bet.
Correction: Plans drop from Bounty Caches. So, if you’re missing Plans you need to do more Bounties.
Note: The Odious Collector (green) Goblins drop Plans too.
Sometimes Plans stop dropping. This only happens pre-Level 70. Plans for Level 70 items will begin to drop again once you’re Level 70 or higher. This includes Jeweler Designs for Royal and Flawless Royal Gems.

If you are lucky, you can get a goblin floor in Visions. Plenty of plans can drop there.
Do bounties for guaranteed plan drops, or farm visions and hope for goblin floors.
You need to get three rorgs (for you, follower and altar), one glove of worship and some want an avarice band. Any extra toon you make might need duplicates for their followers. So farm all of those if you haven’t already, and plans come for free. If you already have all the bounty-specific items you need for the season, then I’d probably stick to farming visions.
