So is there a solution? I have it enabled in the launcher to keep me logged in and it’s disabled in the account settings to always ask for an authenticator.
I’m literally ONLY using the battlenet launcher on the same PC every time and it still asks for the authenticator like 95% of the time.
I mean that is so annoying I think dealing with a hacked account causes less pain than keeping the authenticator connected.
The Battle.net app definitely shouldn’t ask you for the Authenticator every time if you’re only logging in from the same PC.
There may be a file or caching issue causing it to challenge each time, so you could possibly try doing a full reinstall of the Battle.net app to see if that helps.
In Windows 10 go to Start → Settings (for Windows 7 open the Control Panel)
Click on Apps (for Windows 7 click Uninstall a program)
Uninstall the Battle.net app
Press Windows key + R
Type the following into the Run window and hit Enter: %APPDATA%
Delete the Battle.net and Blizzard folders inside the appdata folder if they exist.
Repeat steps 4-6 with %LOCALAPPDATA% and %PROGRAMDATA%
