With Firebird, I think we saw a couple of factors influence their decision:

Big influx of players on sidelines were going to play S23 if Firebird was in meta. All kinds of people hyped on forums, social media, in chat rooms, etc. So they knew Firebird was a hot topic.

Then, and this is perhaps unfortunate, they made it insanely good early PTR with Tal6+FB4. Then patched it but FB6 was then insanely good. So the buzz on how good FB6 would be was pretty nuts.

And then a massive rug-pull. The post-PTR nerf was huge like 15 GRS. And while I’m not saying this was in or out of line with their ORIGINAL power level goal - it was a big disappointment for many because now it is OUT of the various metas and PTR kind of made it worse, (even though PTR shouldn’t factor in because only the end-result matters).
So there was this feeling of “all that for nothing”. And yeah, this happens with other classes in PTR etc, but this time with lots of streamers getting vocal, making specific vids on FB getting screwed, etc, I think it was enough to tilt it.
Plus I think they’re on best behavior with D2R preorders going on, Immortal and D4 on the horizon but who knows.

In fact you said NO NECRO CAN CLEAR A 150 WITHOUT THE SEASONAL BUFFS. This is completely false. 131 necros have cleared 150 without seasonal buffs.

Look on the non season leaderbaoards. There are in fact 131 that have cleared 150 in non season which means no seasonal buffs. Seems pretty clear to me. Maybe if that is not what you meant then be a little clearer is your posts so there is no confusion.
All I am stating is lets as a community spread correct information and not just spit what you think is correct.
If you are still confused go to maxroll.gg and click on ranks/era13 and you will see the 131 clears.

I could not care less about season. So I do understand you.
The North America server itself shows NO 150 non season necromancers. It did show some older ones from the previous season when I checked before (you can check the completion dates).
Doing as you suggested shows 30 Clears of 150 by Necromancers. None of them are NA servers and all of them are at least 8k plus paragon (all but one are actually 9k+ upwards of 14k) . Maxroll is not showing the actual build so there is no Idea how to tell what is actually going on with those accounts.
Are you sure you weren’t looking at Crusaders by mistake?
OK so now you see what I’m talking about. Just because I say 131 doesn’t mean it is factual just because I say it. So you went and double checked what I said and got the correct info. This is all I want. People come on here and believe anything instead of actually doing there own testing or research.

So 30 necros have cleared 150s without seasonal buffs. Its actually 31 but that doesn’t matter. You said no necros can clear a 150 without seasonal buffs. You did not indicate over or under a certain paragon threshold but strong "NO NECROs meaning none.

We have No idea the context of that data nor can we see the builds nor is there any dates on them. Using the leaderboards that do give us all of that information so we can understand what’s going on, there is no 150 necromancers on non season.

He might have a point if there was legacy item or bug in play, but to my knowledge, I don’t think there is. Someone should figure out how they are doing it!
