New Sader set changes at Blizzcon PTR

Ascendancy is only good with literally 100% uptime and on spread mobs its terrible, blessed ground worked due to the stacking of shield of fury stacks without the rays active. It depends on what your playing and to be honest ascendancy is really not good.

imagine being so bad you dont have 100% uptime on HF, especially with this set and build, like omfg what are you even thinking dude. Like Akkharat’s set builds it is a must. Imagine not knowing Ascendancy has increased radius and FoF adds two more so you have 3 huge HF’s on the screen at once and literally think spread mobs will be a problem. Not to mention you just pull them all together and having 3 that stack damage is literally more than 3 times the damage of Blessed Ground rune on elites and bosses… The base damage of Ascendancy is only literally double the damage of Blessed Ground as well.

wow, how are some people so bad at this game i cant even

If the set’s revised stats stay the same in the official patch, what are the “best” builds of crusader for speed and for pushing? Just curious. Thanks

To be honest, crusader will be top boss killer in season 19. On 144 i have kill the boss by 5 min, but with new set and Heaven`s Fury buff (20k instead of 1,5 k of akkahn set - that is more than x12 multiplier!) And first dmg boost from 1st set bonus is x4 multiplier. Total ~12 x 4 = 48. Heavens Fury will have x50 more damage!

With which build did you kill the boss in 5 minutes? I suppose Invoker + Crimson / Aughild, right?

Now you showed your lack of knowledge blessed ground double dip so rays stac shield of fury and ground effect so you have double stack

No, but invoker+crimson stronger than build what was on me. I was in Akkahn + Crimson (Heaven`s Fury).

Very interesting! Can you post a video in which you kill the RG, please? I didn’t think it was possible push so high…

no, i dont record it. I think you can find something in youtube (maybe old without buffs). You should seach “crusader rgk” or “crusader heaven`s fury rgk”.

People are killing GR150 RGs with LoD HF right now, fueled by zNec. Kill times range from 3-4min.

Hey sorry this took a while, i just calculated the legendary items multipliers. The skill damage and behaviors are challenging to compute. I am by no means an expert of FotH – not sure if there are internal cooldowns, or limits, on any of the fissure effects. Need to run a video in slow motion, where’s Landy when you need him?

Lol Bravata, for some one who seems to be an expert. I look forward to seeing you get rank 1 as ascendancy, ill keep an eye out since your so confident.

imagine having so little experience and arguing with someone who’s played HF every season for years.

When you switch over to the cookie cutter Ascendancy build 2 days into the season, give me a shout out and a ty.

How high have you cleared with Acendancy, I have cleared 126 as blessed ground lod, and have tried ascendancy its not even close bro.

After a lot of testing it seems dmkt is correct in saying that 2 handed flail would be the strongest and it seems akkhans addendum or fate of the fell on main hand are the strongest and must roll with wrath regen. The go to APS is 2 and ends up outperforming pig sticker significantly. Also you can wear aquila cuirass in the current setup.

How do you want to get Akkhans Addendum to work Dkoi?

This flail only works when you’ve the champ active! The champ has a cooldown of 90 seconds and lasts 20 seconds. You don’t wear the Akkhan set to reduce it to 45 seconds.

If you have 50 % cdr by using Aegis of Valor it’s still 25 seconds inactive. That’s a long time. Even with zodiac you’ll have a long downtime.

So how do you want to get any advantage by using Akkhans Addendum? thx

I did a few quick tests where i got rid of LoD, and just equipped random gear with Captain Crimson. I tried it with OrotZ and without.

Furnace + OrotZ - flawless at 2.0 APS, no downtime on anything, but… the jewelry config is off (RoRG, OrotZ, CoE and Squirts/FoT)

Furnace + No OrotZ - runs out of resource, but can be avoided if you skip attacks during the downtime of Laws of Valor, or with 6 wrath regen/sec rolls on weapon and shield. If you trigger AC with Gogok stacks, you got 3-4 sec of downtime. You need to worry about Gogok. Perfect Fate of the fell is AS, WR, CDR – but with 6 w/s and enough RCR/CDR 67%/43% respectively, – you won’t even notice AC dropping nor care about its regen loss – I ran this with hasteful and everything was fine, even the speed pylon wasn’t causing issues.

Ancient Bone Spear of Zumakalis + No OrotZ – this was just a random item and it could very well be Pig Sticker. OrotZ was not needed to maintain full-time AC, though i was wearing a Flavor of Time with an extra CDR roll. With such high attack speed, i ran out of wrath with Hasteful rune. (2.4 APS) So i chipped off AS by swapping in Nailbiter, and the build functioned flawlessly. I’m sure you could find a balance between all of the 1h weapon types, opting to use Embodiment of Power vs Hasteful rune according to your personal RCR/AS rolls.

Full time AC without OrotZ became possible with the introduction of Captain Crimson – nobody was really paying attention to this because it coincided with LoN/LoD. This is a very cool realization.

All of these builds had Leoric’s Crown in the cube and near max CDR, boosted by Flavor of Time. By removing Flavor of Time AC downtime was about 1 second, but the Laws of Valor buff matters the most. A fun note, all of the builds above can clear GR90 without a 6pc set bonus.

I have put together a d3 planner with the perfected version of what I had tested on live, I have very similar gear on live so it worked out perfect. These are very hard rolls to acquire this is also hypothetical with the current buffs to AOV set which this d3planner mimics to the best of my ability. Here is the d3planner it is currently simming at about 21,000 Trillion on single target but will probably be lower with weaving in of fist of heavens for the damage reduction and damage increase. https://www.d3planner.com/161028411

Wouldn’t this be 1/4 (or 1/9th depending on what the 2pc actually means) of the actual damage? I’m not sure using a rare for the 20k works but you’d certainly have to manually do the 2pc calculation after everything else is done otherwise the second percentage would go into DIBS, wouldn’t it?

I’m genuinely unsure, I’ve never tried to do this in D3P

If you look at virtually any multiplicative multiplier in game they all behave similarly, the hard part really comes down to the testing once the set is released. If what I think your trying to say is that the 2 set multiplies the total damage similar to COE then that makes it the strongest 2 set in game and I highly doubt it behaves that way. Therefore the math that is in D3planner would in fact stand correct however if it behaves the way COE does the d3planner isn’t even close to the right amount of damage, it would be far lower then it should be which really is insane. I have never tested a set this strong honestly on d3planner and my set for thorns does the exact same dps my d3planner sims so I do know that d3planner is fairly accurate. When you are looking in d3 planner and you hover on the heaven’s fury- damage it shows you the formula for how the damage is calulated. What you would see is you would see that 4 x multiplier up near COE if what you are saying is true, which makes it EXTREMELY overpowered because it multiplies the 6 set in essence. We will need to see the set in order to know and the easiest way to test it will be to see what your damage is prior to the 2 set bonus being proced and then once its active you should be doing 4x the damage prior.
