Guys, someone did not brain enough up there im afraid. Why the heck do they have words like ‘salvaged’ and ‘night’ censored now. I mean yes i get it what partial words are there but for real? In Diablo game, salvaged is censored? LOL We cant say good night to friends we played with either. At least in correct english. Maybe they should slow down a little bit. It probably wont get thru the filter on forum as well, but im sure its clear what im talking about. I did not realize there were partial words in those two words until bright minds of Diablo devs helped me to see this, good job (not really).

Ummmm… what? I just changed the clan message and neither word was restricted.
I understand the underlying point that it seems nonsensical to censor such innocuous words in the first place but, by default, the following option is enabled…
Options > Chat > Chat Options > [ x ] Mature Language Filter
So, if you’re confident that you want to see such naughty words as night or salvaged, you could just untick the option and see grown-up mode chat.

It would not let me abbreviate Molten Wildebeest’s Gizzard to Gi z z, even with filter off.
