What were you doing for the other three minutes?
Most of the Barb sets are pretty strong at 85. Hell the Fire MOTE build, which is one of my favorites, could do 85 in under 5 minutes.
Come back when you’ve got a video of yourself clearing 125-130 with the new set, then we can have a discussion.

This set is the new barb set, that supposed to shine!!! as well as ALL the other new sets in S20!!
And GR 85 is not a point of scale to measure sets performance.

Perfect Point Gilthas, any experienced player would know that. I dont think HailFALL understands yet that the Experience , Knowledge he has of the game he isnt one of the testers Blizzard is looking for as the GRs he is able to achieve are not remotely close to testing the set and its potential. Unfortunately his paragon being a huge limiter here

Not to mention, it would help if he posted his “unrefined build”.
H90 just needs the 6-piece bonus, Bastion’s Revered, Oathkeeper and the Undisputed Champion to mow down GR85.

So his “unrefined build” uses all the skills that people agreed upon, has the key equipment (I’m assuming that he has RoRG cubed and it’s just not showing), and has the expected jewels (level 77, 93 and 100).
It’s certainly not optimized, but I wouldn’t call it slapped together.

Missing Frenzy on the Pants
HOTA on Boots when the set isnt utilising the skill
NEMS instead of Morticks Brace ( NEMS stats rubbish )
Using HellFire , Unitiy instead of Compass / Travellors and Stats on his are BAD
Band of Might ( Finally some good news its decent )
Burning Axe instead of Echoing Fury - Both Weopons Rolled Terribly
Should be Cubing Unity instead of Wearing it ( He has RORG )
Skills
Should be Using Ground Stomp over Furious Charge
I understand Patch only drop today but even with NON ANCIENT gear the stats should be a basic thing to do. And YET HAILFAIL continues to say he knows alot about this game and is apparently a judge of SET POTENTIAL
With all this set i am hoping the OP will learn to realise he does NOT have the knowledge to be letting the community know if a SET is TRASH or OTHERWISE.
Giving false information about sets / nerfs and buffs on the forums especially to new players who might read his posts is NOT a good thing for this game

It’s not my playstyle, but cool, I’m glad it’s performing better than expected.
I specifically stated my gear was trash… I literally threw this together with stuff i already had and whatever pieces i could find in like 30 minutes because i have a life outside playing diablo all day
But you made this statement
You cant make the statement or judgement of people saying OMG USELESS SET unless your testing GR120s . 85 is lowbie tier almost anything can do that these days. People in S19 were speed 100 to 110s with WW/REND. If the new H90 set isnt at least on-par with these types of speeds or 2-3 GRs apart in the top clears with acheivable gons then yet its USLESS cause everyone will just play REND

You can FEEL when a set is really bad. Trag’oul, Rathma, Raiment of the Thousand Storms, Firebird, Akkhan… They struggle even to push t16… This is not one of those. Its decent at least.
How much of that time is spent on the forums? Asking for a friend…

Run a T16 with H90…then run one with WW/Rend.
Tell us which you’ll be farming with.

The fact you think the Akkhan set is BAD when trying to prove a point shows again your lack of knowledge .
However all the sets you mention DONT struggle T16 what so ever.
Maybe spent time playing and less time in the forum game and you might learn something

It is. Super mediocre damage multiplier. LOD is just better for condemn.
Trag’oul: Only viable as blood lancer, which is slow and inefficient for t16 farming. Probably 20+ gr difference between this and LoD.
Rathma: Worse than LoD mages in every way. Slower, less than half the damage multiplier, worse survivability, worse essence sustain… Completely useless. Starts to struggle around t10 and only gets worse. For rathma, t16 is possible but it is PUSHING, not speedfarm like rend or h90. Again 20+ rift difference between this and LoD.
Raiment: HORRIBLE survivability. Damage is just OK. Will have a very hard time staying alive on t16.
Firebird: works, mostly because meteor has such insane multipliers. But Arlyse + parthanan is very much pushing oriented and firebird will suffer a lot with poor density. Awkward and slow. Again, t16 is pushing for this build.
