This is not a nerf it’s the destruction of the build , this is the most poorly thought out nerf to a build i have seen. I see 3 players that have done a 150 gr clear this season on the North American leader boards and 20 or so players in the 140 ish range,a spot that i thought the developers were shooting for with all classes.Please do not let this nerf stand, as a monk player it has been nice to be part of the Meta as someting other then support , which isn’t being used anymore either. Very bad call on whoever made this decision.

I am 100% for this nerf. For the past few seasons, in order to be playing the game optimally you HAD to have an inna monk, either for xp farming or t16 or group play. Not only was it boring to have the same build define the game for a year, I think it also represented bad game balance. This nerf is also not severe enough to remove the build from being one of the best t16 farmers in the game while making other builds viable on the top end. Works for me.
I am, however, disappointed, that they did not fix earth allies. There is no reason to touch the build on the set leaderboards until that interaction is corrected.
RIP Inna. I will remember you fondly. My first solo GR150 of any build!
The nerf looks kind of overkill though. Much like bonespear.
About 7-8 GRs nerf (7.7 to be exact as already mentioned), I have a bit mixed feelings about this. Surely a nerf was warranted but is this again overnerf? Remains to be seen.
I only wished people would stop screaming “XXX build is dead!” every time there’s a nerf. Less than 8GR drop in power is not a dead build. Severely wounded but not dead.
It got about the same nerf last season, so it’s more attrition than anything else at this point.
You don’t seem to understand that this nerf reverts the set all the way back to the way it was before when no one played it it is a severe nerf and it is not the best farm build by a long shot … i respect your opinion but i don’t agree with it , Peace .
Inna pre-buff was one of the very worst sets in the game. An 8 tier nerf from the present level puts it in line with their current “target” (they seem to like mid-140s in-season or so given where things have gone lately) and does not inhibit its ability to farm t16 at the fastest rate in the game, since its damage is currently wildly overkill for that level (the “fast GR90” setup with in-geom/ef/flying dragon being identical to the t16 setup, more or less). The only thing this may kill is the Inna 6-Rainment 4 bounty build, which will have to slow down and cyclone strike more now.
Saying that this takes it back to pre-buff levels is objectively false. The highest inna clear in season 23 on NA was a GR126. Post-nerf inna will be able to clear in the 140s with seasonal paragon. It is still significantly stronger than it used to be.

***One criticism tho…if Bliz want to re-vamp crafted sets, I think they should have done at least 2-3 meaningful ones. This “Guardina Set”…its just useless stats. They should have incorporated - Crimson idea - actually changing gameplay.

The values are the same, but with the buff Inna got the Binding of Lesser Gods. Maybe they will change some numbers, but Inna is still ok IMO

***Inna is OP at its current level…I NEVER run inna on T16…The power of water ally will killl a Gel Gob in 1 hit!!! before it can even split…So IMO it does need some balance. But hopefully PTR testing can decided
Honestly, with Inna, I have one shot so many blue gobs that I never farm keys with it…

Thing to note is that blizzard usually allows a very strong build to last for 2 seasons before a major nerf (see GoD6, Bonespear, Mundunugu, firebirds, etc). Inna’s lasted for 3 seasons before the “major” hit. Not that I agree with dismantling a build with humongous nerfs, but rather pointing out the timeline.
Monks have another powerful build. LoD WoL was left untouched and at the highest end, is slightly stronger than Inna’s in current season AND it’ll get some help with the new sanctified items specifically altering WoL.
Monks as a whole will be fine.

This is my opinion, I dont think Blizz can fix “AI”, all the fixes if you have notices are with the speed of the allies, the leash…It doesnt fix that the allies are still stuipid AI.
I think the “pet AI” is a singular program that controls all pets for all classes.
—Some pets seem “smarter” ie singularity mage: thats because they mostly just follow you and shoot up the whole screen - not much intelligence
—Gargs: Many WD players have resorted to summon the pet ON TOP of the mob so the damage is consisten…so the player is mitigating the AI
—Fetishest/Sims: They mirror the player so issue solved.
Point: I think all pets have the same AI, and that might be one reason why we gets these rocks going everywhere [Blizz probably just tell pets to attack enemy], so if they are acroos the screen, thats where the pets will go.
+++On an up side, if they leash allys like skeletal mages, so they can only exist within a proximity of the player…that would be better.
I have tested tons of pets from all classes. They seem different…but i am quite sure they share the same (or large part) of their “AI”. That is why I think pet AI has always been a huge problem.
-Adding the function of pets mirroring the player (fetish/sims) - are the relative most successful.

Earth Ally pushing was the soooooo frustrating!!! to the point I would say its the worst solo push ever!!
Worse than any build I’ve played…you cant time your CE…you just wish they dont fly off when the CE cycle is here.
Oh…lol and Maxroll actually recommended to TP back after every rotation to make them go back to their normal state…that is just wow.

Every character Set must have some advantage. Balancing these advantages is fine, but you’re removing what makes Inna worth playing!!
