…Between and the crossing I found a demonic Ballista. I continued toward the crossing, and there i say a crossing, and there i saw platform that looked down over lava. That is where the portal now abides
any ideas?
You appear to be searching for the set dungeon for the Demon Hunter’s Marauder set. This page lists the set dungeon lores and their locations and should help you find what you’re looking for.
Feel free to come back if you are having trouble finding the location. Be aware that in order to find these portals, you must be wearing the entire set at the time. The portal will not appear if you are not wearing all of the set’s pieces.

Just a little clarification. You can wear 5 pieces plus an RORG and that works also. All you need is the 6 set bonus and the dungeon will show.
It’s actually one of the easiest of all of the set dungeons. You will probably do just fine. 
It’s definitely not bad. Just watch out for the underground worms. They can sneak up on you if you’re not careful and get in melee range which will cause a fail.
Keep one eye on the mini-map…since it ID’s all monsters, keep looking for ones that are moving but not seen on screen where your toon is…those are the worms.
Just use Rucksack and Custom Engineering…deploy sentries as soon as you get into the dungeon. keep tabs on the sentries to make sure you always have max out and just kill all the things…you have go down every dead end though to get the mastery for killing all monsters…but yeah, this is probably the easiest DH dungeon to complete.

While this is correct, it isn’t exactly right.
You can wear 5 pieces with a RoRG and still access the set dungeons.
From what I can tell, the requirement is simply to have the 6p bonus active on the respective set.

Eh, if it’s a correction or addendum and the information is accurate, I don’t mind being corrected. All that matters is that the player asking the initial question(s) gets the right information to work with.

Yes, any one will do.
I don’t think that you will need help. While some of the dungeons can be somewhat tricky (or just downright infuriating), others are extremely easy. If you just want to get it done for the Champion objective, pick one of the easy ones.
Looking at your toons - Marauder for your DH and Invoker for your Sader are probably the easiest. You can also check the guides at ~www.icyveins.com~ - it will give you some advice and tell you if you need to equip items that are not part of the standard builds.
