a) +int , + +4.5 Crit chance , +socket, + 15% damage to elites, reduce 36% to control impairing effects

b) +socket , + 5.5 Crit chance , +7% attack speed , +14% damage to Elites, +150 lighting resistance.

which is better?

I’d go with B.

  • Higher CC + attack speed. As your paragon gets higher, int loses some of it’s value on items since you’ll have more from paragon points and augments.

Same. The lightning resists help, too.

Unity rarely has the right stats. With rings being one of the few items with crit damage, you might consider to put the unity in the cube and reforge another ring with the proper stats.
Krysbins and convention of elements are easier to get with the right stats.
