My Crusader Is A Glass Cannon ( https://maxroll.gg/d3/d3pl )

Please help me figure out why White named enemies and falling log traps are killing me. I sometimes get scared even to Steed Charge because a few hits from a group will insta kill me. I basically can only survive by never letting any enemy get close to me. That being said, I one shot almost everything. Do I need better gear? Better PPoint investment? Better gear enchantment? Any help is much appreciated.

Now despite what my profile says, my Vitality is 5426, my damage is 812,424, my Toughness is 23,830,312, and my Recovery is 1,478,009.

For reference, I am currently on TXII and PLVL 415.

I assume you’re going for a Fist of the Heavens build?

Here’s a few points:

  • Justice Lantern should be equipped, not in the cube. You’re missing the extra block chance.
  • Put diamonds into your armor.
  • Use RoRG in the cube and equip 2 pieces of Captain Crimson.
  • Get Norvald’s Fervor set.

Yes, that’s what I’m wanting to do here. Thank you for the tips, I’ll start working on doing those things posthaste. I’m relatively new to the game so I tend to overlook a lot of things that are probably pretty important. Cheers!

captain crimson’s not good for fist of heavens. I prefer guardian.
Instead of justice lantern, you can try unity or traveler’s pledge.
Source: My main class is crusader, played a lot of hours (hc ssf).
PD: Maxroll guides are good for starters, but their guides lacks of updates and details.

Every crusader build wants captain crimson 2 piece unless it’s an LOD build. The crusader class is one giant cooldown spammer. Cooldowns provide both massive offensive and defensive bonuses, so more CDR directly translates into way more kill speed and survivability.

The 20% RCR from captain crimson directly translates into more toughness for the OP’s issues. The 20% CDR then translates into more laws of valor unstoppable force uptime (extra RCR converted temporarily to toughness), more akarat’s champion, and more iron skin.

Justice Lantern is pointless on an FOH build and so is traveler’s pledge set because you are constantly on the move. The best equipped ring combo is unity + COE or unity + SOJ or unity + zodiac (resource spenders with zodiac reset cooldowns). The RORG remains in the cube so you can maintain 3 piece captain crimson and 6 piece valor bonuses.
