How did it happen that among the pinned forum threads, one of our main and funniest builds is still missing??
I mean this one:

As far as I remember Rage was going to port/update this guide to current forums and patch.
I am not playing Diablo at all for couple of years now, and I don’t have any plans of coming back soon, unfortunately, so I will not even attempt to do anything about that guide. It was, however, my favorite build when I was playing, and I do think that it needs a proper guide.
I got my celestial hideout last night, after total of 208 shaper runs, and I will be busy decorating it till Dec 13 when next league launches in that other game -_-

I tried and failed to produce a new guide. It turns out guide-writing is not my strong suit. Old guide is still good, just refer to that. Leapquake is terrible now, anyway…
Lol nice! Funny that I am breeding my kubros and playing guitar in plains of eidolon as well. I will try 2.6.7 though. S19 looks like it ll be the season of barbs. If we dont play now we msy not have the same fun later.
R.I.P Leapquake. It was fun though. Now every other single build is stronger. Sad
I think it is still strong. We should push for a biulder toss lut sock detonation stuff
You know “detonating” EQs won’t increase your damage, right?
It’ll also ruin the aesthetics of playing the build.

I don’t think Leap went anywhere, it’s still the same build it ever was and it’s very decent on its own if you like the playstyle. Other builds just got better.
A multiplier for quakes on Lut Socks would be a nice band-aid, if a boring one. But I’m not sure the build needs more than that since it’s pretty straightforward.
All EQ needs is a larger multiplier on Tribes (and the additive bonuses incorporated as multipliers).
Honestly, it won’t take much for Fire EQ to be back in competition with other builds.
Or make Avalanche dmg more viable (competitive with EQ)
