Most fun Season 27 Class?

I started with the Barbarian and it is pretty cool with the Sanctification addition. But really it is pretty much just a nice boost to what you already have.

I went on to the Demon Hunter and the Sanctification thing for Vengeance is very mediocre.

Trying to decide what class to try next. I was wondering if any of the Season Sanctification enhancements would be truly unique feeling.
By the way, I am not bashing the Season, I am having fun trying this stuff out, so this is NOT a grievance thread. It is a looking for advice and your take.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for which Class they think is the most fun and why?

not necro.

probably tie between WD, monk, wizard, and crusader.

WD locust+haunt+sucktion also 6 garg boys GarGang
Crusader fist rain and angels
Wizzard magic missle
Monk kung fu exploding fists

Also, Typhoon wizard works really well with the Magic Missile power instead of blades since it looks like you like Hydra a lot.

Also, if you’ve never played Tal Rasha it is like the polar opposite playstyle of Barb and it’s top tier this season but it’ll be just as good next season too.

Aslo, if you liked playing Mega Man as a kid and you liked the Buster gun you could charge up by holding down the button and then it shoots a mega shot, then the Arcane Orb power is kinda the same, and you can watch it build up to 4 orbs over a few seconds and fire a mega arcane orb shot like frozen orb x4.

Also Arcane rune of magic missle and Arcane rune of Hydra looks very pretty. Very good eye candy.

Both DH UE and Shadow sets work crazy well with the Strafe sanctified power. Resource management can be tricky with the Shadow version. On my Shadow build I swap out Seethe for Dark Heart on Vengeance and the extra Hatred works well enough to keep my strafe up 100% of the time even running bounties or farming keys in T16. Once you get around GR110 you can switch back to Dark Heart since the monsters aren’t all dying in one hit and Karlei’s Point returns enough Hatred to keep you going.

I just really like the visual of always-on multishot, at least when enemies are nearby. I can get more speed swapping to the passive that gives movement speed on enemy hit but for the most part, don’t really need it.

I haven’t tried any of the other stuff much - did give Impale Strafe a chance but didn’t like it (though I admit I did not give it a fair shake) and haven’t tried any other classes - in fact, haven’t played in over a week now, but I do want to try the barbarian and maybe a witch doctor if only to have a bunch of Gargantua.

This is lousy like Vengeance.

you’re number 1, and you think heavens is lousy? or do you mean angels?

DMO Magic Missile is EXTREMELY fun with the sanctified Magic Missile power. It like a lawnmower just mowing down everything in your path and infinite teleporting from bubble to bubble.

That is a fun build with Shadow set and the “strafe fires last hatred spender” ability. You hit impale one time, then its all about strafe.

I also like the tal rasha meteor wizard. great graphics on that and pretty powerful without being dependent on the sanctified ability.

Very subjective question. For me, Wizard did the trick this season. Tal Rasha Meteor turned out to be super fun and powerful. And FB Magic Missiles is great for those GR90-110 speed runs. I even made a LoD MM build to farm T16 with.

I was hoping electrocute with DMO would be at least T16 viable but it’s pretty lacking. Looks like I’ll need to make my LoD Manald Heal Electrocute build from HC in SC.

I did make a Trag oul and Bone Spear Necro as part of my own objective with completing all Necro powers in my NS SC cube (I try to use the 40 leg powers seasonal objective to count towards something longterm). I don’t actually mind the Trag build… still leveling up gems for the Bone Spear build. It’s just nice having something different in my roster to play.

Horsing around with crusader.

Great suggestions everyone!

Why do you use Shadow for T16 and not UE Strafe?

WD auto Haunter, Trag’s Blood Nova, Tal’s Meteorshower.

I would stick to WW barb to farm some paragon points, ramaladnis, petrified keys, angelic crucibles and all the different kinds of mats, gold, gems and other stuff needed for testing out different builds later on.

AoV Crusader is alot of fun this season with the crucible power… just pony around and watch the power destroy :stuck_out_tongue:

Barbarian. wirlwind puller.

Definitely not Raiment of a Thousand Storms Monk. Cast Cyclone Strike and it “misses” or fails to cast. Even though you have Implosion rune and they’re IN the range, just because server can not comprehend distance due something decided to move away from you (ie. succubi or those flame breathing flying lizards), CS completely whiffs and fail to pull trash when casted.
Sometimes you see the effect, sometimes you don’t even see the damage or not, but it never pulls them closer. You have enough spirit and tap CS, somewhat it doesn’t “connect”, you see action skill button being pressed on screen but no effect. Nothing casted as I get stuck attacking monsters. Ain’t this supposed to be a bit more sensitive?

Cast Dashing Strike somewhere, it double taps and spends two charges at least. Dash Strike to a corner and force move onward; in case you collided with a corner have fun being stuck for few seconds until you back out.

I may like the Monk but this build took all joy from me. Too many technical problems related to the build and I doubt it could be fixed given Havok engine is an ancient piece. They haven’t fixed the positioning of Allies and Pet manners yet. I finished Conqueror to get my stash tab but I have deep doubts if I can get Boss Mode for Guardian in a matter of months. I really want that dogo.

I had a lot of fun with Raiment this season… more than I ever have. The Hundred Fists crucible power is so awesome when Flying Dragon procs with Raiment. Really makes the “Hundred Fists” term accurate.

I had some clunky issues in the past with Raiment but with practice, I think I’ve worked most of them out. I do think the 6 second damage buff to generators needs to proc from Cyclone Strike as well as Dashing Strike.
