I put together the Monkey Set for the Tempest Rush version of the build and got far and away the fastest time in top 100 of the leaderboard in 1 greater rift
I had no idea it was a good set at all? I can easily get near the top if not the top and I haven’t even augmented it or have particularly high paragon
So is the set actually good? I don’t think I ever seen anyone play it ever. But it seems like it can be really powerful. I kinda forgot how OP it is.
But my other question is why is no one using this set? Me randomly putting it together and doing 1 GR with it in 2 minutes and getting top 100 on the leaderboard shouldn’t be possible at this point.

Shard season, this was my first SSF GR150 clear back then (January 2024):
People usually don’t play that combo, since other sets are stronger and kinda ignore it. I like it at lower paragons, just coz you have a lot of crafted items in it (so easier to get kinda right rolls) and you don’t use Squirt’s Necklace in the build I played.
I’m also using it with the 2 legendary shoulders…Insight instead of Desert Shroud…things like that. Idk if my version is the one but it seems to be insanely OP. But I never see anyone use it
I literally just threw together the monkey king set on season I don’t think I even have ancients and hardly any augments, the rolls aren’t great…but I do one GR and get #25 in 2 minutes? My taeguk is still level 0, lol… does no one play this set? It seems really strong though
So I did a another GR and I think I’m #15 now with a 3 minute clear. The thing is, my build doesn’t look like any of the other ones?
