I dont think so. It is a damage multiplier for the build, but it also increases your respurce cost. For PoJ adding attack speed is fine, you will probably have problems with SWK though.

TR has exactly 5 ticks per sec. That means, if you have higher aps, your tick dmg is adjusted.
