I have Tzo Krins Gaze on my WoL monk. While I am running Neph Rifts my monk will occasionally be pulled/teleported to the location of the WoL cast. Seems almost like a Dashing Strike straight to the point of the cast. No DS charges are being consumed though. ???
Epihpany causes you to teleport to your enemies when you use a melee attack such as Crippling Wave.
Yeah i figured the prob was something to do with the Epiphany transport. I removed all other melee attacks from my bar completely. Its clearly only on the WoL cast that its happening. Like the system is using the epih transport and the Tzo Krins at the same time.
So you are saying that when Epiphany is active, you teleport to mobs for every WoL cast for 15 secs?
I think there would be a lot more complaints about it if that were the case.
Its not every time. Its random as far as i can tell.
Try removing your melee skills, and test. Use “Elective Mode” in the options.
The only melee skill i have on is WoL. Do you mean remove it as well and try another skill altogether?
WoL is not Melee. Crippling Wave is.
Ah i my bad i thought it counted as a melee skill. Regardless I have no melee skills on my bar. It currently consists of: Serenity…Epihany…Dashing strike…Ally…Breath of heaven…and WoL…
When I looked at your profile earlier, you were using Crippling Wave, which will cause you to teleport to your enemy while Epiphany is active.
Perhaps you are fighting an elite with the Vortex Affix?
If you can post a video of this happening showing your skills and the elite affixes, it might clear it up.
The only time I have this issue was when I used a melee skill while Epiphany was active.
Please ensure you’re not spamming WoL faster than your spirit regen and cooldowns can sustain, or you will end up teleporting into a pack.
When you lack sufficient resource for an ability, you will attack with the basic attack instead. For melee classes, this is a melee attack that triggers the “melee teleport” design of Epiphany. Attack speed (especially Flying Dragon procs or speed pylons) can burn through spirit very quickly.
This is not a bug, and has been part of the pros (and cons) of using Epiphany since it was implemented.
