Anyone here used to play D2 in its prime?
Edit: From some of the negative replies, it was just a question. Didint like it, that s fine. Some people did “Keyblade” i guess did not.

Yes for years, but don’t tell keyblade, he thinks that people who play D3 never played D2.

Played the 
out of MedianXL for years. Too bad it’s an ancient pixelated mess. Couldn’t touch it again at this stage.
Would love to play it again with upgraded graphics.

Your a clown mate. Why dont you just p*** of with the personal attacks. I believe the majority of D2 players left for POE im sure ppl who play D3 did play D2 but its nowhere near the numbers it once was.
Any D2 fanboys can go install it though. Theres nothing stopping your nostalgia

D2 was a fantastic game and I admit I was addicted. However, it is really frowned on to discuss other games just for the sake of it, on the D3 forums.
There is a forum dedicated to Diablo 2 (and one for D1 as well! ) where you can find others who play D2.

I myself miss D1 more than D2. For some reason I could never get in to D2. Would definately buy D1 remastered with D3 level graphics.

Didnt say i wanted everyone to play it. Its pure nostalgia. I and many others had fun.

Hi, I just installed D2 form battle.net official sites. I have 2 questions
1, If I play D2 on 2 different PC, do I have my characters “Updated” on each PC?
2. I have tried to click on multiplayer in D2 menu, patch started to run, but after I reached 99% error came to close D2 for finish.

There is no harm in playing D2 along with D3. You can play D2 when you take breaks from this game.

A while back I searched and found the disc but not the original box/sleeve so can’t install. I’ve thought a few times about buying it again. I miss being a boil on Gheed’s “butt”. (He can say it, I can’t quote him)
Oops!, meant to edit my post but whatever i cant put that much effort into this response. all i can say is that the option should be built in and available. I should have to install custom mods for the one feature i want
I loved mods in D2 LoD even made my own inventory, stash and trade mods along with other crazy stuff like new gems for example although nothing as good as median…
Too bad D3 RoS doesn’t have modding for single player.
I even came up with a modding mode when RoS came out, of course just pics, but didn’t finish it anyway…
D2 was amazing.
Been debating playing it again in my free time which is limited.
I miss item hunting and then trading and rune words and ubers.
Those were the days.
I agree runewords were great and what was even greater is that they worked on merceneries. Everything you equipped worked maybe exept set bonuses.
Not to mention that you could dual wield 2h weapons with your barb or have 2 of the same uniques or runewords equipped at the same time (two same 1h weapons). Miss jewels also and sapphires, skulls…
There is a kind of modern updated D2 called Path of Diablo. Played a couple seasons and it’s very fun. More of a Quality of Life D2 without the huge botting issue’s seen in battlenet d2 =P
