Menagerist Goblins; Fun to find?

Menagerist Goblins are great fun to find as long as you haven’t already collected all of the pets they have to offer. Once that happens, they’re just annoying. They simply drop a little bit of gold and one item. No materials, no plans, nothing special.

But they are still rare.

Therefore, I suggest that after all of the pets have been collected, and a Menagerist Goblin is killed, that it drops a Ramaladni’s Gift. Or a random component from the Staff of Herding. Or a guaranteed Primal item. Something that doesn’t step on the toes of other Goblins, but still offers the player some benefit, rather than only frustration.

Agreed, seeing a Menagerist is just lack luster. Once you have all the pets, they are the worst goblin to come across.

I’d even settle for a double load of DB’s, but your ideas are better.

Well, unless Blizzard gives more uses for Ramaladni’s gifts, most players already have a stash full of them.

Components for the Staff of Herding would also be pretty useless. Once you get a staff of herding, you’re done for all your characters.

Guaranteed primal item after clearing GR70 solo would be great. Other options would be a Puzzle Ring or Bovine Bardiche. Hell, maybe even a random rare transmogrify that you haven’t unlocked already.

Season players beg to differ…especially early on. Having to roll a socket onto a weapon sucks (except to get the achievement).

I would like to see ancient Ramaladni’s Gifts that let you socket jewelry.

if you collected all pets, they should make the Menagerist have a 50% chance to turn into a Rainbow Goblin :smiley:

Lots of good ideas here. I adore goblin hunting and would love to see the Menagerist Goblin have something of value even after all pets are collected.

The best would be if the game turns them into rainbow goblins once you get all the pets. Those cosmic wings still allude me :frowning: .

Menagerist Goblin, somewhat of a myth. Ive seen…2? ever…

I have like 6 pets, 1 was from a season, 1 was from a 2018 Starcraft 2 anniversary…ok, maybe 4…ghosty, spider, yeti, goat thing, those are the other pets ive got. Then ive got the Battlecruiser from SC2.
