🥶 Making the best of a trash primal: Vitality vs. Life Per Hit

So I rolled a primal BK sword. Great, right? However, it has:

holy dmg strength vitality life per hit

(and max fury, monster xp as secondaries)

Obviously the Vitality and LPH are not ideal.

But if I wanted to make the most of this item for season purposes:

  1. Reroll Vitality or LPH off?

  2. Reroll for +% dmg or cooldown redux (I’m thinking cooldown redux since I’m using the captain crimson set right now - I can obviously change to dmg later if its better).

Personally i would roll LPH for CDR. 10% CDR is a lot . As for LPH, to me is not that important in pushing GRs and I’d rather have vitality. You’ll get one shot anyways.

Just my opinion. Others might chime in with a different opinion.

I’d kinda say the same, roll off the LPH to the desired roll (CD in the case of crimsons).

sword that doesnot have CDR with possibility roll AD is not worth it. not even primal. this sword is somehow good for raekor hota build if you roll of vitality and keep LPH.

i got primal slanderer CDR with Area dmg. my little rogue isnot primal tho it has 2800 dps base and it has 10% CDR on it so i just roll 24 % AD from vitality

Actually with WhirlRend build, AD is not that critical. It only does anything if you manually apply rend.
OP, I would roll LPH to CDR. Eventually if you find an ancient with that you can get to 10%dmg, CDR, STR that might be an upgrade if you have enough paragon to not need the vit.

He’s talking about a BK sword, which is only useful for WW Rend build, for which you don’t want Area Damage anymore.

As others have said, if you’re using Crimsons, then yeah, I’d roll the LpH to CDR.

ok kids, AD on WW rend is essential. and yes you got to hard cast rend tho thats what you should be doing anyway. i just copied set from leaderboard but it didnot take long for me to realize hard casting in huge pack is ESSENTIAL. i went from 66.3% CDR down to 63% just to get extra 20% AD = 138 % AD total and it is noticable different if you hard cast every one or two seconds.

Don’t forget hard cast Rends are overwritten by WW Rends though.

i was just reading someone have done test saying it is not clear. i dont know answer to that myself but i can say it wipe out lot of mobs when i do rend self cast. how you know if WW overwrite self cast ?

anyway truth or not i self cast two rends then spin then selfcast two rends and boy it is noticable .so even if it has 50% chance for succes it still worth to stop spining and cast that rend. sure should be a bit stronger because crusader is going retarded, but crusader was always kid class since its relase for easy mode. i blame it on blizz ignorance

have cleared 125 GR solo , maybe i could go to 126 if i get lucky on pilons but the survaveability at 2800 para is the problem. 138% AD and i could go as far as 158 % but it would put me down to 59-60% CDR
