The entire dh community wants EA to be viable! This is the chance to get it with the new set!
I think you mean that they should change the DH set to buffing generators… not just primary skills. This way, it’ll work with EA and Chakram with their respective weapons.
Considering the number of players who wanted and EA or Chakram set, this would be a good change.
Pretty much this, and that change isn’t that catastrophic as all the legendaries that turn Secondary skills into generators aren’t exactly powerful, barring the exception of EA with the potential to be viable (not even overpowered).
Exactly! For once, we get a new set that supports several damage dealing skills, not just one or two. They can make this better.
Turning EA and Chakram into generators means they still won’t work with Hunter’s Wrath since that only buffs primary skills. But it’ll give this new set some options.
At first I wasn’t a big fan of the idea…
- will likely still require dawn with seethe for hatred regen (I really hope they add in increased hatred regen when strafing onto the 4pc!).
- I see RORG being used in cube, not so that Crims can be used but so that we can get Visage of Gunnes and Depth Diggers into the build. This feel limiting
But with all primary skills being supported and the buffs to their support legs, I think I can really enjoy gearing up with this set during season.
They have the opportunity to make it better with the above suggestion to support all generators and not just primary skills.
If it won’t be a primary we miss out multiple multipliers… hunters wrath / simplicity / depth diggers… HUGE
That ship has sailed. They won’t redo the mechanics now.
Primary is set of skills, classified at the top og your skill selection. Where you (if you have Elective Mode enabled) can click the arrow and switch between Primary, Secondary, Tactical and so on.
So changing the grouping of a skill is a very big deal.
… it’s about adding a texture to kridershot that EA counts as primary skill. So it will be boosted by the set/simplicity/enforcer/depth diggers

Mechanics of H90S, Mundunugu’s, and to a lesser extent Typhon’s were all changed before the last patch went live.
In fact Mundunugu’s was totally reworked to reduce the Mana Regen aspest and add a flat 20K damage multiplier to the 6 pc set.
Making a spender skill that has a base damage double that of primaries, a quiver that increases the damage by another 250%, and a bow that make it a F&R procing Generator isn’t going to get Primary buffs. Nor should it, really.
However, making the set work with those skills as Generators is pretty viable.
Isn’t EA regenerating with kridershot?
Yes, but Simplicity, Hunter’s Wrath, Depth Diggers etc work with Primary skills. Not Generators.
Applying those buffs to a skill that is normally a spender would make it way OP. Especially with Augustine’s Panacea already buffing the damage by up to 250% or slowing Ball Lightning to 30% speed.
It’s realistic to imagine the set working with Primaries getting those buffs, or with Generators not getting them. Not so much with Generators like EA or Chakram getting Primary buffs.
That’s a question of moving a skill from one branch to another very different branch. Primary skills are simple skills that deals very little damage but has other small benefits.
