With the exception of occasional crashes, my M1 Mac worked fine for Season 34.
However, after not playing for about a month, I started up D3 today and it took a very long time to start. It showed as unresponsive in the Activity Monitor for a while but then it eventually started up. It did this consistenly (I tried multiple times with different regions).
Has anybody else encountered this?
Also I see that there is a PTR update for D3. However, there is no PTR for the upcoming season so I don’t understand why there would be an update and I also wonder if this is somehow related to the slow/hanging startup of the non-PTR version? I would think that the 2 apps should be independent of each other but maybe there are some shared libs? I’m hesitant to update the PTR version given all the problems that have been reported here with the last update and given that there shouldn’t be a PTR update.

Edit 2: Rather than update the PTR, I uninstalled it instead, but the slow startup issue still remains.
