Lol likewise. I’m really trying with the ones i have.
I do not use the keyboard or mouse with dirty hands. Yuck! I prefer things to stay in working order and clean.
Currently making a pot of chili so I have easy to reheat and tasty food for several days. Will also freeze some for later when I feel lazy. Chili is always a great home made winter food.
^^^^ So much yes. I love chili so much. I have so many chili recipes locked away in my noggen, tho they usually have beans. My standby is very simple too. Green beans, black beans, and tomatoes. I use crushed red peppers for a little bite. The juices from the tomatoes and black beans create a nice base/broth.
I either slow cook it all day or just boil the heck out of it and eat it on the spot.
Of course, lean beef or chicken go very well with it, as does cheese. I like pepper jack cheese, but any will do, especially cheddar (mild or sharp).
Left overs are always good. Can have it as is, as a chip dip, for hamburgers, or hotdogs, or fries if I feel the need to drop by Mickey D’s. I even like using it as a Sloppy Joe variant. Sometimes my Sloppy Joe variant is a grilled cheese sammich instead of a toasty bun. SO GOOD!

These should probably be in the Community List rather than here. Just sayin’.
So, me and my wife have had Covid for the last few days. In other news, my little brother married his third wife this morning at 11 am Vegas time. The wife and I were sleeping so we couldn’t watch live as it turns out it was live streamed. But we did watch it a couple of hours ago.
As far as Covid goes, it kicked our butts for the first few days but we’re starting to feel better now. In a couple of days my wife will be able to return to work where 6 residents so far have been infected.
Anyway, just thought I’d throw this out here.
Also, just want to say Congrats to my brother and hopefully the third time’s the charm.
I hope you and your wife feel better soon! My sister and her family have had it and were very very sick.
Glad you could at least watch a video for your Bro’s wedding so you can chat with him later - after you are well enough to talk without coughing
Oddly enough, my wife got hit with coughs harder than me, but it mostly like the first and second day for her. By the third day, her stomach was hurting because of the stain on her abdominal muscles. But the third day on it’s been more of a runny nose situation with an occasional cough. On the other hand, I think I got a milder version because I didn’t cough as much and don’t have nearly the trouble with my sinuses. But for me, it was a whole body ache. I mean every joint in my body ached especially my back.
But I think now we’re both coming out of it. And it to the point that if I start aching I can take some ibuprofen and eat something and I feel better almost immediately.
So, it appears we got a relative mild infection but I’m pretty sure it due to us both getting vaccinated pretty regularly, like every 3-6 months. I was thinking of getting another shot shortly before I got sick, so when this infection clears, I’ll probably go in and get another.
hey folks i made a d4 lounge
