Umm… they love Mint so much it is not funny. Catnip is a mint and all other mints are similar, although not as effective. The citrus ones have merit. Lavender they rub on.
Foil…not a deterrent for the ones who like plants. I currently have them on a high shelf but the light is less than optimal. We shall see.
