Looting before timer ends

This is my one complaint so far. At the end of the fissures, when you clear it, a timer starts. Not sure if this is triggered by opening the final chest thing or not, but it seems impossible for me to avoid starting this timer. I can never pick up everything that’s on the ground because the timer that ends the entire event runs out first.

It starts when u open the chest.

I dont have that issue. It seem like u just being too slow.

I think the chest is hidden behind a stationary goblin, so you have to be aware it is that goblin and not run in pushing your button to loot when it dies and drops the chest.

Not humanly possible for the higher torment levels. You might be doing low level.

Damn, yeah was thinking that. The Earth set is rough especially when the area is already covered in items. Will switch to a channeling set like wastes.

Was doable on the PTR at least at T16.

T16 and no issues. U are the first one i heard complaining about it. I would say its pretty obv that u are just too slow.

If you open the chest, it triggers the timer. So make sure you got everything else and your inventory has room for when you open the chest.

Game on.

Just don’t open the chest before killing all the other clutter and Elites around it. It shouldn’t be too hard or compulsary to do so. Remember to visit town and dump salvage materials or uniques you have found.

The issue is that I’m hitting the chest before everything is dead because I can’t see it nor avoid it easily. I can make some adjustments, but it’d be better to seal the chest before all enemies are dead. Some set ups are left click fests and the screen is full of clutter almost instantly. This isn’t an issue for a lot of builds.

The chest appears after the goblin dies.
Stop left clicking once its dead.
Grab all the other loot then click on chest when ready.

Yeah been trying it that way. Would still be a lot better design to just seal it until everything is dead; at least in proximity. I’m not suggesting this is impossible to navigate, btw. Could just use some improvement here.

They should add the auto pickup / salvage again. Perhaps as a season buff?

As long as you can choose when it is active. And no, not having a pet is not the answer. I would like to be able to customize the pickup, designate what to pickup, etc., rather than have the pet active or not.

An all-or-nothing scenario is not ideal, especially if you are leveling a character and using items you would pick up. For example, maybe I want the pet to leave the yellows behind, but pick up everything else.

For me personally, it is all crap, even when leveling an alt. Only during leveling first char there is a small window where I check those for upgrades.

It is fine if the pickup/salvage can be configured. No problem for me.
