LOD blessed shield build. Is it better to equip gyrfalcon for cooldown and attack speed or atkhan leniency for higher damage? Please share your experience.
Equipping Gyrfalcon’s Foote feels better to play, the increased attack speed helps with stutter step, the CDR helps with survival. The 1h vs 2h gap damage gap isn’t as big as it seems.

For me it’s always about the secondary skill roll. Akkhan’s can be between +35% to +40% on it’s per bounce bonus so not much difference in most of them vs. the cube but Gyrfalcon has a huge range of +300% to +400% so unless I get a nearly perfect one I tend to run with it in the cube. But when I eventually craft a primal one then I’ll switch to it with Akkhan’s cubed.

Can’t craft a primal one this season, unless you want to severely nerf your game by NOT using an ethereal.

The 2-hander in hand is usually used only with season themes where you can get more CDR in another way - Shard season as an example.
But even then, it was usually paired with extremely well rolled gear in other slots.
99% of people would still run with a Gyrfalcon in hand, IMHO.

Don’t ethereal’s get primal like maxed stats though? So same thing, different name.
No, Ethereals don’t roll with maxed stats. Most of the regular affixes will have roll ranges, as do the legendary powers they roll with. Only certain affixes, like the generic skill damage percentages, are fixes at specific values.
