Loads of public games but can't join them

Don’t know why but I see 55 public games but i can’t join them and brought me into searching games. I’m pretty sure not all of the games are full. Anyone has the same experience? Or is it that I have to complete campaign mode to join? Sigh…

No you don’t have to complete the story to join.

What type of game mode are you trying to join rifts, bounties ?

Bounties afaik you can only join if no act have been done. In a pug game. I could be wrong.

Ah, I see the issue now…

Your hero is level 48. Whilst there may be plenty of public games available, none of them will be for sub-70 at Expert level because, two weeks into the season, pretty much everyone is level 70 and playing at Torment 16. Because of this, the game will search (unsuccessfully) to find any other players under level 70 trying to join Expert, fail to find one, and will start a game with you in it. No-one will be joined to your open game for the same reason you couldn’t find one.

Essentially you have the choice of either levelling to 70 solo, or just shout out in the in-game General Chat and ask nicely for a 1-70 boost and someone will have you up to level 70 in a few minutes.
