this issue is probably way more important overall than what is mostly discussed here. alot of people play the 4man meta game. if AoV gets tuned down (and even if Barbs get a deserved re-buff it will - no surprise here - not be as strong as Bazooka is right now) then Wizards will rule again and this time even more with macro usage.
it’s almost like the most important thing to do. if they can’t fix it, please consider restoring it completely like it was before the patch until you can come up with a proper solution.
Nice to see that the nonseason players like me are the new test peoples beside ptr. We used our mats to craft new sets, we used our gems for caldesanns, and then you will patch the new things again. You just have to test the newest changes on a new ptr… An i think you will nerf the problems “Blizzard like”… That means crusader will be completely destroyed after the “small” patch. I didnt know a season where the crusaders are really asked for meta play, and next season i think it wont be again.
If you make deathwish and etched sigil ramp up over time that would be an easy way to fix bazooka while buffing true channeling builds like meteor shower.
This also destroys other Star Pact builds that aren’t Bazooka. I’m not sure if that is the intent for the devs, but I don’t think other Star Pact builds should also be removed.
It also makes moving with “true channeling builds” a problem.

I agree with you, the StarPact rune is a fun concept, but there’s no way a 3000% weapon damage spender (or whatever it is) which benefits from Wave of Force, Black Hole, and Arcane Dynamo should be interacting with 100-200 Archon Stacks, and Death Wish, and Etched Sigil, etc.
Essentially, if they can make sure the player’s Channeling state can never be active around an Archon transformation the build would still work but would not be as broken.
Pressing the Archon button should destroy all Channeling States for a second or two. It’s not like Archon abilities work with those items anyway.
The Balance Patch is definitely good news. Crusader new set being so OP is a slap to the effort of the barb community that has been asking for buffs for a long time.
Regarding the Fjord Cutter Bug, the question remains, is what is Blizzard stance in all of this bug exploited clears in the solo barb current era leaderboard.
I have been counting and there are at least 4 of these non legit hota clears in the current top 100 barb standing.
Edit : Blizzard is confirmed to reset the leaderboard before 2.6.7
