I would love personally to see them put that buff back on Lamention, I am not holding my breath. Blizzard and their past on this kind of thing speaks for itself.
This is my opinion, but Rend WW is still playable. Mind you Barbs are not my favorite class. I still prefer to play Talrasha Meteor, Generator or WoL Monk, or Lazynecro.
Prior to these buffs the best I ever pulled off on a WW barb was a 75. I easily jumped to 95 after these buffs, and t16 is a joke. These are without augments and only 1300 para in the off season. I am fairly casual player. I tend to spend more time in WoW (retail and classic) than anywhere else. So to me getting close to 100 with the barb is great. Puts it up with my Tal Meteor that I typically switch to after a few days.
My buddies and I always come back for start of season and depending on how much fun we are having tend to last either a couple of weeks to a couple of months of the season. And short of some major changes, will probably all be rolling barbs this next season to start with even without the %damage to Lamention.
