I was just wondering what linking your Blizzard and Switch accounts actually does. I was thinking about getting D3 on the Switch, but I read somewhere that linking the accounts doesn’t actually do anything. Is this still true? If I bought D3 for the switch, would I be able to continue my PC progress?
it doesn’t… it doesn’t allow you to pass go, or to collect $200.
You sure as hell don’t get to continue PC play on a console. There is no cross play functionality. You are basically buying a new game when you buy the switch, or any other console game. and Each console is separated from the other as well. Only Sony can touch Sony, only xbox can touch xbox etc.
The only advantages you have of getting D3 on switch compared to other consoles, It’s the only Diablo Game you can play for now and in the future on the switch, and when in non season, you don’t have to complete the campaign to open up adventure mode.
