Legendary gems not affecting stats/environment

I am using the 3 gems listed below. The main reason i think they are not integrating properly is that the Bane of the Trapped has a lvl 25 bonus of " Gain an aura that slows the movement speed of enemies within 15 yards by 30%". However, there is no aura around me. In the previous season, there is a visible circle around my character.

I also dont think my gems are ‘working’ as i seem to do the same about of dmg regardless if they are socketed or not. This is harder to justify than not seeing the aura. But the Bane of the stricken does not seem to slowly increase damage against enemies with high HP.

All gems well over lvl 25
Bane of the Trapped
Bane of the Stricken
Gogok of Swiftness

Not a bug. Multiplicative damage dealers don’t affect sheet damage. That is one reason why sheet damage becomes increasingly irrelevant once you hit level 70.

I’ve never seen visually the aura of Trapped, only its effect when enemies come close and are clearly slowed.

Stricken is tricky to observe. Its effect is applied only to one enemy per attack and the rate it happens has an internal cooldown based on your attack speed.

What class were you playing in the previous season and what class are you playing as this season? Some hero classes have abilities that show their range as circles around the hero, some don’t. As an example…

Necromancer - Frailty / Aura of Frailty

Becomes an aura that curses all enemies within 15 yards.
The range of this effect is increased by 50% of your gold pickup radius.

That shows up as a smoky / ghostly / pulsing circle beneath the Necromancer.

Wizzard, all seasons… Its just odd that i was rocking the same setup last season and could run T16 no problem, but now i can barley speed T13’s

You had ruined your wand by rolling elemental damage to attack speed.

User error.

This is what happens when you enchant the Weapon Damage off of a Weapon for another Property:

Never roll the Weapon Damage off of a Weapon unless you’re creating a zero-Damage support build (zDPS) or an Invoker build. It doesn’t matter what type of Damage it is. It’s just extra Damage. A LOT of extra Damage.
