Low cost would be a better approximation, if we were talking about keeping costs down. Budget is budget, whether that budget is 500 or 5000.
Bottom line, you are trying to stir up drama in a thread that has no need for it. We are good here, We have quoted out what the OP needs to look for to purchase a laptop that is reasonably priced that WILL run D4 just fine. You need to take your rant someplace else.
look, it’s literally in the dictionary if you dont believe me. when used as an adjective it means “inexpensive” literally.
when you requested it as a noun, he gave you the noun version of budget.
I am always right. stop trolling and being toxic.
which sparks my comment about D2R, in which millions of users we unable to play on their budget laptops due to a block put in place by blizzard. you cant even use the legacy graphics on a budget laptop.
i’d say $1000 minimum to run D4 on low settings (game is poorly optimized) or else buy used and hope you get lucky.
They actually do, at the same resolution, it’s a good increase at close viewing. I’ve had both sizes and I won’t go back to 15". I’ll save up if I have to.
Now, if you’re going to connect to a monitor, that’s a different story but some people play with laptops on a table, couch, floor, travel, etc.
You and I both know what budget means and that’s not it
“american english”
If this were Reddit, I’d have given Bravata Reddit gold for the amount of times people have taken crystal clear and obvious bait. I mentioned in another thread, he could, before his post, clearly state in all caps “the next comments I’m making are troll comments” and some people here would STILL bite.
OP a lot of the people have given you solid advice, and to me ;), one advice I would like to add is that aim for as high as possible above the recommended.
My personal experience on D3 with a laptop that barely runs the game is not a pleasant experience.
Davey gave you a suggestion that seems like a very good deal for you. The others can evaluate it better than me but it looks well above the recommended.
The problem I have is every thread they visit they have to find a way to ruin it. I’m just tried of the same BS from them.
As far as I’m concerned, they had no business replying in the thread. As for their suggestion of spending 1000 to play better than minimum, that’s BS too. My $700 purchase was more than capable of running D4 at 60FPS or better at mostly high settings.
You and I both know this. Forum trolls have no business in any thread and they don’t care. They thrive off of those responses knowing they struck a nerve. I have most of the bad faith posters on this forum blocked, so I don’t even get notifications when they post and I cannot see their posts. It makes the forums a lot less cumbersome.
Davey’s post seems to make sense; if possible, I would try to have more than 16 GB ram is the only improvement I would try to upgrade…at least 32 GB of RAM…
