I’m throwing my two cents in. If you going to get a laptop get a 17" one. You going spend all that money and get 15.6". For few extra dollars you can get 17.3" laptop.
I got a MSI GF series last year and did a lot research on it. I change the cheap 5400 rpm HDD to a SSD and upgraded the memory. Plus paid under a $1000. One other thing I got a nice 5 fan cooling pad for it too.

Plus one other thing most laptops comes with 1 stick of memory too. Very rare if it comes with 2 sticks. So if you can make sure it comes with 2 sticks.
Because if it comes with one stick. If you crack open the laptop upgrade the memory. Most of the times the 1yr warranty will Void.
