my hero just dead because of lag more than 1500 ping, when it’s turn yellow, i play again, and it immediately turn ping more than 2000 when ellite come, then my hero absolute dead for ping more than 2000ms for sure, there is no way to escape lag ?
Without more information:
- It appears you’re playing on the Americas Region.
- If you live in NA, SA or Australia, make sure you’re logging in to your Blizzard App through the Americas Region. If you need to, log out of the App and then back in. Make sure you have the Americas Region selected.
- If you’re using a command line argument for D3 in the App Options, uncheck it and see if that improves your latency.
- If you’re not using a command line argument, open Game Options in the Blizzard App, select D3 and check the box for “Additional Command Line Arguments”. When the command line field appears enter:
OnlineService.Matchmaking.ServerPool=Default
- If that doesn’t work, try running the Blizzard App as Administrator. (If you’re not already).
- If the Blizzard App is running at the same time as D3, go into the App Settings and set the App to Exit Battle․net completely when D3 starts.
- Make sure you have no other apps running while you’re playing D3.
Other than that, you could contact your ISP and see if they can help with your connection.
I sometimes play on US server, everything was OK ( my ping went from EU 70 to US 140, it’s insignificant ) until this season. I’ve played 4 days with a constant “freezing” lag/red ping, sometimes per every 5-10 minutes. So, it was predictable and inevitable - just lost my monk 1000 ( 944 paragon ) which was geared for at least gr 140, but died at gr 131 because of that lag. Unfortunately, these constant lags make hardcore unplayable.
