i wish Microsoft would just replace the Diablo team with full AI at this point. It would likely be a better experience for the player and things like this would be quickly remedied. At least AI isnt lazy and wont make up lies like “because of player feedback” that never existed.

They’ve replaced customer support with AI, who knows what else will get replaced as well. It clearly doesn’t work, so I’m not sure id say it’d be better for players.
Bots supporting bots? And the rest of us are logged jacked in to The Matrix. Hmm…

If the limit on your credit card is high enough you can also have 3000 hours played when the season is 3005 hours old. Seems odd they can’t spot this but it has been going on so long it is now a feature.
Do the math on Paragon 14000. It is simply not humanly possible in a season. Yet, there it is.
Makes the leaderboards completely useless.

What region you looking at? I look at all 3 regions and there isn’t any body even close to that. You playing on PC or something else? All the region seasons the highest was in the 6K area.
You have to remember this is a user to user forum like all the rest out there. Yes they are people on here that do report stuff. But Support only listens to what they want to hear.
So Mattelot is right will it be any different with them. So how much of the crap people put up here that they really listen too? Plus this game is 13yrs old. Do you really think they really care who is at the top of the leader board???

Oh I know, they don’t care. Any statements of theirs that they do is just PR.
On PC 14k, definitely not.
But on EU, there are 5 players in the Monk Top 50 with over 8k Paragon. Rank 2 is close to 9k.
The highest Paragon profile I could find is at Paragon 9531.

Did a quick look at the top monks in the NA LBs. OP might have been looking at the top solo clear for monk’s profile. His NS is 14k paragon. His seasonal top clear was at 6600 paragon while he has 7500 paragon now.
If you look at the 4 person clears, there is an 8500 paragon monk in there. Cool seeing 2 of the monks with 20+ hours a day played with “bot” in their account name (before some of you spaz out, “cool” is sarcasm). Think many of them realize they do not need to hide it anymore.

What is really sad is they only go half tailed after cheaters for optics purposes. Catching cheaters costs money which they would rather keep for big bonus’s and they like the look of the MAU boost they get from those 20+ hour cheaters.
TBH, I rarely push the LBs and play significantly less because of the lax enforcement of their own rules. If they actually put in a serious effort, I know I would play a lot more and many others too.

That’s exactly why I’ve never cared for LBs in this game. I tried back when D2 was just D2 but people running pindlebot 24/7 and getting high ranked plus loot, it was not possible for anyone legit to compete.
Then the apologists come with their excuses like “they do it in waves, could be any day” or any other PR statement for damage control.

The two of you are right, but I was going by what he said.
I didn’t look at the others why he said #1 slot. There could be some body at 10,000 too. All I care about was the #1 slot on all three regions.
I really don’t care about the cheaters. They don’t effect me because I really don’t care about Paragon or the Leader Board.
I have been playing for 13 yrs and my Davey account has not got 3000 paragon yet. My BigRed account is the same way too.

in rough terms it would take 83 days playing 24 hours a day to reach Paragon 7500. It is unreasonable to think this was done legitimately this season.
Until something is done it is all talk and will continue.
I wonder what service/program they use. Asking for a friend.
Oh yeah, no is saying that any of these people are not botting.
Just that 14k (on season at this point) is out of reach even for the 24/7 botting ppl, which is why people reacted to OP.
