all is fresh all is new why would we need a ladder at the start?? Nobody would start normal…
Either start ladder 6 Month later with the first Patch OR Start Ladder directly and dont hafe a normal mode till 6 Month later…
But starting ladder “shortly after lunch” just delays the time ppl can start the game further…
Stop flapping, this has been explained to us all in detail, the ladder will not be present at launch but will start sometime after. I personally would like to see it ASAP.

I will never understand this ladder… Thing?!.. What’s so important about the ladder?
Fresh start and higher difficulty. (and lv 99 race i guess for those that wants it)
But at the start of a game it’s not really important anyway (outside of the difficulty) because well…everyone start from scratch 
it allow us to have once again this feeling of everyone starting from scratch ^^
Really wish that higher difficulty would just be in the base game.
I know the fresh game + difficulty will bring me to ladder every once in awhile

Ladder Games Have Increased Difficulty
Ladder Games offer a more challenging type of gameplay than players will find in Normal Games. Monster AI speeds have been increased. Reaction times increased for Ladder Nightmare and Hell games. Basically every monster acts like a super unique.

Better AI like styks mentioned , but also way more def stats and hp stats (sometime doubled)
overall , the stats between monsters from ladder and monsters from non ladder are different even from the same monster on the same area and difficulty.
i think so too , the difficulty should be in NL too.
Because even simply the fresh start is enough for me to go back to it often.
