Kadala gives double primals?

I was under the impression that the double primal drop this season does not apply to Kadala, since it is technically gambling and not “drops.” However, I just received double primals from her. Now, I guess it’s possible that I just so happened to gamble two independent primals from her, but what are the odds? Has anyone else noticed this?

I got two primals from her before I unlocked the double primal drops. I have not gotten any, regardless of source, after the altar seal was broken.

Yes, if you get a primal from Kadala with the double primal from the altar active, you get two primals. I don’t even think the second one costs you any shards. And both primals will be the same type you were gambling (as opposed to a dropped primal that gets doubled, where you get any random item type as the second primal).

If the first item you gamble as primal completely fills your inventory and there’s nowhere for the bonus primal to go, it will drop on the ground

Crafting and bounty bag items you don’t get a second primal for though.

Yes, she has always given Primals. And yes she will give double Primals if you have unlocked the altar.

I happened to see a short video from Wudijo where he got one primal just when the inventory got full and then the extra primal dropped on the ground.
