Not a bug. User error. Change view to “All” You cannot craft a gem if you don’t have the materials.

Change the drop-down at the top of the jeweller’s window…

Possible reasons you can’t see some recipes when “Have Materials” is selected…
- You don’t have any Death’s Breaths
- You haven’t obtained the recipes yet (they drop from bounty caches and/or odious collector goblins)

You need 172,711 more gold to craft that gem.
The reason most of us default to asking people to checking Death’s Breaths and the Show All vs Have Materials is that we assume most people are able to work out simple causes such as not having enough gold, because the crafting window shows the cost and how much you have available.

It’s been so long, that gold had any relevance, I totally forgot it existed.
