Jen just quit, D4 delayed, I was right as usual

Good morning, MissCheetah

Delay is not a shut down chicken little. It just means it will be launching in 2023 maybe Q1 or Q2 of that year.

This is not likely gonna happen, I say that Jen left due to wanting to spend more time with the Women in Games International. Along with probably not liking the idea that the company she has been running is no longer called VV as a subdivision of Blizz. When the name changed is when she left.

If true then D4 wouldn’t see the light of day till 2032 all because everyone at Activision/Blizz so focused on profits. There was never a time when Blizz was a non profit organization. They have always been a for profit business.

Losing a leader of a company doesn’t mean that games will crash and burn without her. She is not such a great person that no company can survive without here. There are plenty of caring and talented people that are in the work force that can handle their jobs quite well.

I was initially thinking Q1 of 2023, but now I am thinking possibly Q2 of 2023 is more likely. The only way they could’ve done it faster is if they decided to do the dumpster fire of alphas and betas that D2R done. I hope that D2R’s launch will teach them to do a much better job of running alpha and beta tests along with a stress test with actual players for D4 before launching it.

This doesn’t mean that both are guaranteed to be cancelled.

Rich coming from you. Don’t you have another few troll threads to create?

The pads as well might not want him.

OW2 is the only one that has the risk. It may just be rolled into OW without the 2. It’s already seen a couple major changes to the PvP since the announcement and PvE(the main component) seem like nothing more than the PvE event missions already in the game. If it’s just a 5v5 and persistent MP missions, they might as well just make it a patch like HotS 2.0.

You would think the opposite would be true in that case though, just spitting out subpar games every year for the money, like EA:s sports games.

Do you realize that literally everything was different back then and so can’t be compared?

The one that I replied to was saying that there is no way that D4 would’ve released before 2023 due to one of the co leaders of Blizz being all for profits. That is why I said if true then D4 wouldn’t see the light of day till 2032 and I would stand by that statement. Because that is how silly it really is.

I think it’s this one.
I don’t mind it being delayed, if it means that they are making it better. I never hoped for next year anyway and having fun with all the Epic games I got from their app

Take a look at D3 that game took Blizz 10 years and two different game companies to create. Then look at D4 that game will take close to 11 years before it sees the light of day.

D3 development time was more around 6 years.
D4 development time seem to be around 5 years currently.

Censorship eh? And this time, his post is pretty accurate. Frankly the worse Blizzard gets, the more right Bravata sounds.

Yeah, I know, you where spinning on his not bright argument, I was just saying if money was all there is a sooner release would be much more likely than a later.

If that’s not a clear sign of the apocalypse being near I don’t know what is.

Why does it matter so much to you? Your quitting remember.

Blizzard has initiated a ban wave of an entirely different sort.

Delusional - Keep digging that hole.

Lots of personal attacks here. Wonder if the mods will actually do anything, or nothing. Their track record is pretty abysmal with dealing with personal attacks, despite them being against TOS and COC.

Do you realize D3 was started by Blizzard North in like 2003-2004 then rebooted in 2006-2007 after they Blizzard Irvine dissolved them and took over the project? So the version we saw really only too 5-6 years and was completely from the full on MMO version Brevik and them were working on.

Commenting on mods is definately against the rules. So watch out.

So are personal attacks. yet the mods do nothing about them. Double standards? Or just plain ineptitude. When you point out someone not doing their job right and get punished for it, something is VERY wrong with the company.

I was also brought up by my parents to stand up for what’s right, and point out what is wrong or broken. Something that is sadly lacking in younger generations it seems who don’t want to rock the boat.

But anyway, nice threat from you. Typical bully response and boy are these forums full of bullies. I can’t wait for the day when victims who have been bullied on Blizzard forums, and the company has done nothing take a class action lawsuit against Blizzard and win massive damages in court.
