I've learned something new and stupid

So as my account has recently been threatened by support staff, who insist that this low activity forum (no offense to those active here) is the proper channel to address company staff members, I’ve decided to delve in and nose around. The issue I was having was related to D2R but I was directed to this forum specifically, and upon finding my way to the actual D2R forum learned that I cannot post there as I do not have a PC license for the game, merely a console one.

My original gripe was the lack of disclosure of the account linking process, and it’s poor implementation, before the point of purchase but now I see that poor design for the end user is a wider issue than the ports.

So my suggestion for technical support would be to perhaps allow users with licenses for the appropriate titles to actually be able to post on the appropriate forum, an admittedly wild concept, I know, but if it was completely mandatory for me to link the account than I should have access to the resources that link should provide.

The support I have received so far has been fairly non-existent, and I eagerly await the complete disregard of my feedback once again. Thank you.

I just tested it and I’m able to post in all three of the Console forums on an account that doesn’t have any D2R license, neither PC nor console.

You have to be logged in in order to post. Just navigating to those forums isn’t enough.
