Look, i know we have our differences, all of you and I, but we’re on the same team. I’m just as disgusted as you are with D4 and knowing we have nothing good to play until they bring in some fresh skilled devs to work on a D3 expansion. Maybe that team that did D2 Resurrected?
I feel the first step required is to prep a monster of a season 29 and mass market it in place of the D4 marketing. Make it a build up season leading in to the new expansion. All of that marketing money used on D4 from this point forward was going to be wasted anyway. D4 is a disaster, it’s done, donezo, over, Fin, game over man. Blizzard needs to start focusing on the future of the IP, and there is no other choice than a D3 expansion. I mean D4 is getting killed by games like Halls of Torment, a $5 indie game. Let’s take a step back and collect ourselves here. Put together a season to show whatever D4 newcomers are left, what a real decent Diablo game can be, and code up some expansion characters, areas, and items.

Doubtful. Surely some would buy it just because of character slots, I know some people even bought the necro DLC merely for the stash tabs too, but a bestseller? Nope.
Realistically to be a bestseller it’d need some very, VERY substantial content. Something more than what has been already added for free combined.
Unfortunately we will never see who is right and who is wrong. I don’t seriously think they will make any more expansion pack for D3. Maybe D3R in few years.
The chance of another expansion is indeed an absolute zero for D3. Maybe 5-6 years ago there might’ve been a chance but not anymore.
Amazon is female only so it’s out of question, classes must be for both genders. PvP is worthless and should’ve been in game since release anyway. D3 has received new sets and legendaries for free. New act adds nothing but new tilesets for rifts.

everything you said is just plain goofy if you take history even half seriously. This expansion progression method is literally text book, even for games like WoW. D2 lod literally wrote the book on how to easily produce expansion content.
they did most of these same expansion additions for Diablo 2 when making LoD and it was game of the year best seller and still has a huge fanbase 25 years later.

I think you greatly misread what I said. Diablo lore explicitly states that warriors of Amazons - or more precisely Askari - are female only. Men do not fight.
However in D3 the classes must have both genders as options. Since Amazons are female only, they are not a valid class for D3.
Not sure who that is, but the lore says he was the first of his people to become a Senator of the Republic (equal to Palpatine, right?), and a General who won the war on Naboo (a literal war hero and hardened warrior). Say he was a Sith Lord, so he held a powerful command of the force, though i would have been Light-sided, so not sure if this comparison is 100% accurate to me.

D4 Druid was actually not that bad. Some of the skills definitely need reworked completely. I like the aesthetic and play of Werebear… smashing stuff is fun. Rogue, for me, required too many legendaries to be fun.
