The famous AoV Foth Crusader won’t get any support with the upcoming theme (i still believe it will be faster than other builds with Norvald Set though). So people are hesitant to play Crusader this season.
Yet i am quite excited to play AoV Heavens Fury again with The Redeemer and Astreon’s Iron Ward. It will feel like 2021 summer again with the Ethereals lol (even if the build is nerfed to the ground on several occasions). Additionally, I naively believe that i will clear Grift 150 with it on relatively low paragon.
And Akkhan Condemn Crusader of course. I think it will be S Tier with the Ethereal support. It wasn’t even a viable choice back in 2021 if i remember correctly.

What you see on this forum is a fraction of who plays / might play. So we cannot tell how many will play Crusader

While the FotH Pony build might not benefit from the Ethereals, some other builds will. Captain America, LoD Bomb, etc.
The lack of proper speed build might be an issue for some.

Some of my contacts/friends (and I don’t have many) intend to play Akkhan (to push), before all other classes or builds.
For my part, I intend, as usual, to play WD.
Not everyone is going to play Necro Nova (I’ve had my fill…) or Wiz Meteor or DH or…
All classes are present in the S or A tier (and with a choice regarding the build) . So more diversity than the last season.
The monk seems more behind than the other classes, but hey.
About the Meta, I don’t care

Of all the builds I ran Echoing Nightmares with last season, FotH pony was the smoothest and most efficient… especially when it came to dealing with those annoying splodey dude spawners (for lack of a technical term). Got to 125 pretty quickly with all the maps.
I’m tempted to roll one just for that but with GoD’s power this season, hard to see myself going past that.
I was considering. I simply pushed on and tried to figure Shield Bash Roland this past Season and it worked fine enough although it’s absolutely powerless out of Season themes.
I could have tried again for this oncoming Season as well but SB related powers don’t even appear at Ethereal items. Possible that I can still make it work somewhat but I guess I rather go back to Monk or WD at this point.

I missed season 24, so I will play all the classes to get all the ethereal weapons and to play many different builds. Then I get to have fun with all of the weapons to see which one I like the most.
I like Thorns, Fist of the Heavens, and Hammers. So, I will start there. I’ll fart around with LoN builds later in the season, same with hardcore mode.
I am really looking forward to this season. But I will play Barbarian first. Then Monk, Demon Hunter, Crusader, Wizard, Witch Doctor, then Necromancer. I will eventually get to the Crusader. 3 months(ish) may not be enough time for this season tho.

I’m maining sader SSFHC. Going to try to make FoH pony work with Khalim’s. Pushing with Akkhan and Cpt America.
I have tried to get into Crusader like 3 times. Maybe the Ethereals are what I need to enjoy it?
I also mostly missed 24. I played so much of season 23 and right up to the end that I just needed a break so I just had a short stint after a while. I initially had no interest in unlocking all of them, but since I have been so bored of other games recently and my wife is temporarily working away from home I don’t see much of a reason to not spend most of every night playing. It should be quite easy then.
There’s an easy mode “cheesy” method to unlock them all on a lower level in case you want to try that. I did that in S24 to get the other characters items. I forget what it is, but if you google it you can find it.

Unlocking ethereals is kinda easy enough. If you run non solo, you just get a character to level 11, invite another player, leave game and go back in with the class you want to farm etherals on. Speed run rifts was the way I did it
AoV Heavens fury seems very strong to me in S32
Thanks, I knew there was some quick method but I remembered it as needing group play. Now I definitely need to do it. Also currently thinking of playing three classes so even easier.
