is there away to connect the 2 so i dont half to buy the game all over again?
D3 doesn’t support cross-platform.
Even if it did it would still require buying two copies of the game.
What if they talk about D4?
Diablo 4 will still require you to buy a copy on PS4 and PC if you want to play on both
True.

Only way to buy games only once and play on two platforms currently is Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere which allows you to buy certain games (FH3/4/5, Vampire Survivors, Dragon Quest etc.) on Xbox and you get game on PC too without any additonal fees. Also saves are in cloud so you don’t even lose progress when you switch between two platforms.
You can use PS Remote Play on a PC to play PS4 or PS5 games.
Console Diablo is bad suited for playing on PC. Better use a TV rather than monitor.
So?
It is still possible. And… a TV is very likely to be much larger and have better resolution, overall, than a monitor. Not always, but the majority of people who’d even consider it.
Larger, sure, but better resolution? That I kinda doubt, at least if the owner is a PC gamer.
Diablo 3 runs at these on Series X
3840x2160
60 fps
HDR
Can your monitor do better?
Yes, don’t really see hows that relevant one way or the other though.
So, what’s resolution of your monitor if 3840x2160 is low? You did brag about monitors having higher resolution.
Not until D4, but you’d still have to buy 2 copies.
You’re conflating things. TVs, outside of the rare 8k TV, max out at 4k. Computer monitors come in 1080p, 1440p@16:9, 1440p@21:9, 1440p@32:9, 4k, 5k, 6k, 8k, and in the ultra high enterprise range, 10k. Many computer monitors also have higher than 120 Hz refresh rates, which is what TVs max out at currently.
FWIW, all a TV is, is a computer display with a tuner, additional inputs, and extra processing circuitry. It’s been this way ever since displays went fully digital.
Let’s assume you have 55" 5120x2880 monitor and you have average vision. Do you know how close you have to sit to see difference between 2880p and 2160p? Less than 1,2 meters. With better vision distance is longer. You most likely stay at around 3-4 meters from screen that big so higher than 2160p won’t have any benfits, you can’t even see difference between 1080p and 2160p at that distance. 5K 27" display? Less than 50cm.
Same resolution but my screen is 160hz, nor did I say that PC screens have larger resolutions, I said TV:s have not, that’s two very different things. My point however was that what the console can deliver is utterly irrelevant as it says nothing about what the TV you’re using is capable of.
I play on both. My goal is 800 paragon on each, SC and HC, console, PC (US and Euro). Obviously, I enjoy the early game more than the later game.
Console has some advantages (easier to pick up items, easier targeting for range) but the stash system is horrible. Still, sometimes I prefer to sit on my lazyboy with my cat on my lap and play for funsies. I do consider my main to be PC-HC-US though.
No one asked for my D3 life story but I chose to give it anyway. Sue me.
Are you in the right thread, because that makes no sense for this one, definitely does not fit any of my posts in here.
