Is there a Chat/Menu function guide or tutorial out there?

I’ve been looking for guides or tutorials that explain things like how to add item stats in chat conversations, or how to quickly invite someone from chat into a game. I can find countless guides on builds and strategies, but almost nothing on how to work with other humans. The D3 community is usually very accommodating to answer specific questions in the chat, but I’d like to RTFM before showing my @$$… problem is, I cant find TFM. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For a list of Chat commands, open Chat, type: /? and press Enter.

With Chat open, Shift-click on the item to insert it in the Chat Window. When anyone, including you, clicks on it, the item’s tooltip will popup for them to see.

You can insert item(s) anywhere in the text. For example, you might type: “This is my weapon, {{[Yang’s Recurve]}}.”

Of course, you don’t have to actually type the code for the items. That is automatically inserted when you Shift-click each item.

Right-click the person in the Chat Window and then click “Invite to Party”, or whatever it says. (It’s been a long time since I played in groups, so I forget the exact wording).

Addendum

I had to edit my previous post. You DO NOT mouse-over the item listed in the Chat Window to see its tooltip. You must click on the item name in the Chat Window to see its tooltip.

I had to do a little “GIMPing” in the following image. When I clicked on “Yang’s Recurve” in Chat the tooltip covered the Chat Window and I wanted to show both.

Note: This is a good way to show your Sanctified items in these forums. Especially if you’re seeking help with a build. (Although, you could do the same thing by mousing-over it in your Inventory and taking a screenshot of that).

Just to add, if you don’t know, when you press “Print Screen” button ingame it automatically creates a screenshot in (jpg files):
