Build guides are now using LoD instead of LoN.
LoD gains 2 free rings to use while LoN only gives 1 additional GEM.
surely 2 rings is more powerful than a 3rd leg gem.
What is your opinion? LON insta salvage now?

I wouldn’t necessarily insta salvage LoN rings. You never know what might come down the road in terms of new or updated Gems that could possibly make LoN more competitive.
But as of right now, I think LoD is easily stronger than LoN because 2 Rings > 1 Gem.
I use LoN with WD DoD t16 in group play.
Unity and Coe aren’t as useful as a gem. I have no ancient SOJ.
As a LoD WoL i am looking for good LoN rings, because of speed gr clears. As previous post mentioned CoE and Unity aren’t as useful as third damaging gem in speed rifts, in my case enforcer or zei stone.
Simple answer: Yes.
There is no legendary gem that is worth two rings’ legendary powers.
Majority of builds 2 rings > 1 gem but some bds the gem still > 2 rings.
If you are seasonal player, insta salvage LON rings for sure. But if you plan to or NS player, keep well rolled trifecta all class rings can be handy. You never know when u gonna need them.
I just got an ancient Litany of the Undaunted with max CDR, CHC and 47% CDC. Will definately keep in stash, as set item changes in the future are retrospective and worth keeping. Especially one with a trifecta stat.
In season LON is still useful because you can’t level LOD up to 100 right away - especially in hardcore. Some builds value all 3 gems and have average ring choices, so it gives you diversity in gearing.
