Is it still possible to obtain Inarius Wings in Diablo III?

I am aware if one preordered Diablo IV they were granted among other cosmetics, Inarius Wings in Diablo III.

If i were to purchase Diablo IV, shall i obtain them? If so, is it exclusive to the Blizzard platform &/or shall it register all the same if i purchased it on Steam?

At last, were they a limited time offering for pre-orders of Diablo IV?

Yes. You had to have pre-ordered Diablo 4. Since Diablo 4 has been released, you can no longer pre-order it, so you can’t get the wings.

I see, thank you for the clarification.

There is still a very rare slim chance that a boxed copy of Diablo III can be found for sale with the code to unlock the wings. However they are usually very expensive and can be risky to buy.

But what KillerProc says is true. No way to obtain them without a pre-order code or with a digitial pre-order of the game before it launched back on May 15th 2012.

Or use a time machine.

It was a D4 pre-order, so the time machine would not have to go all the way back to 2012.

FWIW, the Inarius wings were available for a while longer after D4 release… can’t remember if it was only in the deluxe and ultimate editions of the base game or if the standard edition included them but there is only the standard edition for the base game now which doesn’t list the Inarius wings as an inclusion following the release of Wessel of Hatred.

Just as well, my desire to get D4 wanes with time. This just helps in my decision to not get the game until it’s complete and on discount… just to play through the story.

You’re going to be waiting a long time, I’m afraid.

It’s spelled Weasel of Hatred.

I thought it was Weaseltown. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, I ignored the Diablo IV part completely. This IS the Diablo III forum after all.

That’s OK. Real life is keeping me mostly occupied and I’ve still got many builds that needs improving in D3. If they had added the Altar and Fissures to NS, I’d have been able to do what I wanted to do in NS and probably tired of D3 sooner and moved to D4 sooner… but as it is, I’ll probably be grind on and off with different seasons for quite a few years to come.

I mean, it’s not bad. It’s much improved since the garbage release, but it’s still got some work to do. It’s as if they still don’t know what they want it to be.

That’s the impression I get from watching the odd video on Youtube.

Though, the focus on seasons has kinda turned me off D4… I was never a fan of seasons in D3 as I don’t like the idea of restarting from scratch when I have so much to do in NS still. But seasons is the optimal way of grinding and also where all the new content is. If they had taken a page from PoE and put the previous season’s content in NS/Eternal realm, that would keep that part of the game fresh and interesting.

That’s a very fair point of view. I do like how D4 seasons are more engaging but that’s not favorable for all. Some like simplicity and that’s my a bad thing.

I get it, they load seasons with incentives or else they’d have little participation, but Blizzard sometimes forgets that NS people exist.

They were available for quite some time, if you purchased the ‘Collection’ edition of D3 or D4 (including both D3 and D4), after D4 launch. At least until March 2024. But that edition no longer exists, sadly.

There was also the collection with D2R, D3/RoS/Necro and D4 that had it too I think.

The Inarius wings and Inarius goblin pet would be the only reason I would buy D4 early (basically to improve my D3 experience… especially on this account as I have no angel wings unlike my main account which I hardly play now - lol). Regardless, I have more than enough cosmetic wings, and can still do set dungeons if I wanted angel wings of some sort.

I traded a dude the boxed WOW Buring Crusades for the D3 Collectors edition, went to Bliz and entered the key code, and poof, Inarius Wings of Justice. Not to mention a Diablo Skull and USB Soulstone with a whopping 4GB flash drive. Good trade. They are out there if you want it.

Also Big props to MissCheetah list of [List of all Wings, Cosmetics, Pets, and Promos.

That’s the one I meant, exactly.

Those are the Tyrael wings… not the Inarius wings.
