Is D3 Officially done, or can we do something about it?

I know they are going to recycle old seasonal themes from here on out, but is there any hope?
I know a lot of us want to see new content.
Can we make our voices heard?
I have a lot of love for this game and I much prefer it to Diablo 4.

So… are we screwed here… or will there ever be hope?

No.

Ever? Too soon to say. If you’d have asked her if we’d ever get a redone version of D2 about 7 years ago, some of the usuals would have laughed at you and probably false flagged you or something.

Now, any time soon? Very unlikely.

Alrdy did. Game is old and ppl want something new. Thats where d4 comes in.

They working on d4 and they add new content there. Getting new content for d3 is however not on the map. Maybe when they release the remake in like 10y.

What the Future Holds: A Message from the Diablo III Team

Valiant Nephalem have hack-and-slashed hordes through Seasons introducing gameplay-alerting themes, experience-defining quality-of-life updates, and hellastic events for the last 11 years. Diablo III will continue to burn bright in Season 29 and beyond—this Season sets the bedrock for the game’s future and introduces our final brand-new theme.

Season 30 will bring fresh gameplay balances and bug fixes to reinvigorate your adventures but introduce no new theme. Instead, this Season will usher in the permanent return of a community-favorite theme, Rites of Sanctuary, which will be playable across all modes. Following Season 30, iconic themes and features from Seasons past will be reintroduced roughly every 3 months, ensuring there will never be a shortage of twisted obstacles to overcome and demonic blood to spill.

You actually have to have someone from the Blue or Green team speak to us first.
The only thing they respond to now is BS, so don’t expect an answer.

What in the world is the “Green team.”

They might as well add up to Torment 26 (GR125) difficulty for play other than greater rifts. The power creep has gone this far, might as well turn it up to 11 for the final farewell.

Yes…you can hope for a D3 Remake.

I would imagine the MVP:s, they are green on the forums, still people that assume they are actual Blizz employees.

So, he is referring to people who do not work for Blizzard and have no say on anything.

In all of these years I have never seen anyone refer to the MVPs as the “Green team.”

Neither have I, from the context of his post that’s what I believe he means though, given that blizzard employees are blue and has long been refered to by their color.

If you mean remastered… Look to Diablo II:Resurrected as a good example on how well that will go.

For the theoretical Diablo 3 remaster come the year ~2032, Blizzard remasters the game to hype up and garner interest in Diablo, draw the old D3 players back in to prime the future sales of Diablo 5, fix a few long standing bugs, add even more power creep to the game, then ultimately throw the game on the maintenance shelf a year or two afterward.

Definitely a functional sales gimmick. Whatever works I suppose.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the D2:R graphics update. Well worth it.
