how do i use the kanais cube to upgrade a rare item to legendary quality what weapon should i use

It looks like your main Character is a Seasonal Barbarian. If you are currently using the Weapon you want to keep, you might want to Upgrade Rare Level 70 Weapons to extract the Powers from. (You have nothing showing in your Cube Slots. You’re allowed one Weapon, one Armor and one Jewelry Power).
You can gamble Blood Shards with Kadala. Keep any Level 70 Rare items to Upgrade in Kanai’s Cube. Or, you can Craft Level 70 Rare items at the Blacksmith and Upgrade them in Kanai’s Cube.
