I killed a pack of lacuni slasher elites in a normal rift but invincible copies of them stayed on. i cannot hover over them like a regular monster but they still move, attack and do damage like they did before
This is happening with me quite often in greater rifts. Makes upgrading a legendary gem very annoying!!!
The workaround for this scenario is to lead the mob to the entrance of the next floor, then TP home and walk back to Urshi from the beginning on the rift.
This will allow you to upgrade your gems.
