Invigorating Gemstone + Homing Pads

Socketing an Invigorating Gemstone will disable Homing Pads’ effect. This is trivial to reproduce by equipping both items socketing Invigorating Gemstone and equipping Homing Pads on a follower.

In general, due to the fact that Invigorating Gemstone grants immunity to control impairing effects, I would expect it to alone grant the ability to teleport uninterrupted, as all other similar effects do.

Edit: it was brought to my attention this bug only occurs when Homing Pads’ power emanates from a follower.

Met this only in case when pads equip on the follower. If wear pads and gem on the character simultaneously that didn’t occur.

Apologies for necroing this thread, but I wanted to mention:

a) this bug is still an issue.

b) not only does Invigorating Gemstone prevent Homing Pads from working (when emanating from follower), it also short-circuits various other abilities that grant CC immunity, such as Wrath of the Berserker or Ignore Pain, preventing these from letting you teleport to town while being hit.

Notes (also found in expanded description in video):

First attempt to port to town (0:20) - no Homing Pads, no Invigorating Gemstone, and no other CC immunity. Hits from mobs reset my town portal.

Second attempt (0:23) - no Homing Pads, no Invigorating Gemstone, CC immunity coming from Wrath of the Berserker. Successfully teleport to town.

Third attempt (0:51) - Homing Pads equipped on follower, no Invigorating Gemstone, no other CC immunity. Regular hits do not reset town portal, but knockback effect applied by Grotesque does apply a reset.

Fourth attempt (0:58) - Homing Pads equipped on follower, no Invigorating Gemstone, no other CC immunity. Regular hits do not reset town portal, successfully teleport to town.

Fifth attempt (1:34) - Homing Pads equipped on follower, Invigorating Gemstone equipped on character, no other CC immunity. Hits from mobs reset town portal.

Sixth attempt (1:44) - Homing Pads equipped on follower, Invigorating Gemstone equipped on character, CC immunity coming from Wrath of the Berserker. Hits from mobs reset town portal.
