My inventory screens and inventory on character, most of the time, takes 15-30 seconds to load. When the mouse pointer is hovering over an item, I can see the description, then click on it, it will appear. But the rest of the item icons will not load until I either wait for them to load, or click on every single one.
This is a recent problem. Did not experience this several months back.
I will try deleting and reinstalling but I doubt that will correct the issue.
Is this more than likely a hardware problem?
I am using older stuff but being that everything was perfectly fine several months ago, I don’t know…

I have the same problem. Started S21. When i use the D3 blue exe icon to run D3, my inventory lags for 5sec. But if i launch the game via bnet launcher there is no inventory lag
Yes, it’s a real problem! I met it before — only in town of Act V. But now it’s everywhere! Even in New Tristram in Act I (this is my favorite location, it was smoothiest of all others).
Current season is really weird! I can’t play Diablo III, cause launcher was very-very laggy, it was not responding for several times and was really long loading. And so the gameplay was, couldn’t play at all.
But one day it was fixed: launcher was ready for a few seconds, game loads quick, as it always was. Idk what it was, but it gone. And I was happy, but this things with inventory… It really upsets me.
Such things never happened, and i playing Diablo III for a long time! All my friends abandoned Diablo III, but not me, cause I’m a true fan!
Please, don’t let such a things happen!

I can add more information: playing on 32-bit version, I have tried everything… Change texture quality from low to high and back, set all options to high, set all options to low, changing resolutions — nothing helps.
As I sad above — all was fine with game, I played it nice. Such a problem was only in town of Act V and nowhere else.
It’s something come with a season update, I swear!
It gives the impression, like game cache does not work correctly.

I am having the same problem starting yesterday. It happens with my inventory, my enchantress’s armour, my armour, and my stash. I am on a macbook pro. Are there any patches that resolve this problem?
