Hmm I am not sure if I would agree that the 70% was my own decission. Since I mostly play singleplayer I can not trade and so I am stuck with the items that I find, which means I will lake in resistances and life and other stuff which I have to compensate with charms. And all this results in the 70% solution lol. But I agree that the more stuff I find a 50% solution would be possible, but only then if I have farmed for all the items I need which can take quite some time in singleplayer.
The thing I donāt like so much about having all the charms in the inventory is that I love to collect items, picking them up, using the gold for gambling. I personally feel like having a restricted inventory interferes with the flow of the game which I donāt like, I donāt wanna port back to town all the time to just sell 1 item.
I recommend you to test project diablo2, I only realised how nice it was to have a charm inventory once I played this mod. Just try it out to get an idea how it feels like, itās worth it.
I also play single player at the moment and I must admit that I go 70% charms because Iām not strong enough to easily own Hell A4/A5.
So, I also go back to town quite often. I also like to sell a few 35k armors for gambling.
Even if I can probably be considered on āpurists sideā, Iām still opened to / interested in other points of view, making mine still able to evolve.
If I would have to reply to Blizzardās survey now, I would probably set āNeutralā to the charms inventory QoL feature, rather than āNegativeā (as I already replied).
I donāt like the idea to use 3rd party programs and prefer to keep the game as it is, whatever the constraints it suppose.
But youāre probably right, I canāt objectively realize how a feature is good or bad for game experience while I havenāt really tested it. I can only imagine its consequences.
Welcome to the club . I used to play battlenet a lot before, but I somehow prefer playing singleplayer nowadays.
Yea thatās often the problem when you wanna go hell, for some builds you need every stat you can get to do well in hell, so charms is a very good solution for this.
Thatās always good, this allows you to see things from every aspect and side. I am open for a lot of stuff to be honest if it is well implemented (whereas I am against personal loot), especially when it comes to quality of life changes. I donāt need the game to be totaly changed, but having for example ladder runewords available in singleplayer would be a nice thing in my opinion, so people donāt have to use mods to change their game files just to make the runewords available. I am also for more space, I personally couldnāt have enough space to store items, I am a real item hoarder lol. Those are actually the only 2 changes I would like to have: Ladder runewords in singleplayer, and more stash without having to use a mod for it.
To be honest, it is not a must have change for me, I can also live without a charm inventory. It is just that it makes the flow of the game and the playstyle for me easier and smoother. Like I said I see it more as a quality of life change, and I like kind of these changes if they are not too crazy
I just mean for testingwise , so you can see in action how a charm inventory could work, you donāt have to like the mod , but donāt worry I am not going to force you mods are not for everyone.
i recoomend path of diablo (pod for short) over PD2, its much closer to the original game, the creater of PD2 used to play pod and basially just stole pretty much everything from POD. and i have talked to him and he is a stuck up jerk sooā¦
Yeah Iād probably second PoD over PD2, though both are good depending on what youāre after for gameplayā¦PD2 is pretty grindy from what Iāve heard, if you like thatā¦PoD is probably more diverse for gearā¦which is fun if youāre not looking for the authentic D2 experience (which Iām not when playing mods)
I havenāt gotten into PD2 at all personally, so maybe thereās something Iām missing there, Iām no expert.
